Deja Entendu is the line that runs across my cell phone. The theme of disconnection runs across life and yet I keep finding humanity between the split wires and bad reception. Dorothy Parker and the Algonquin Hotel Crowd epitomize finding solidarity and friendship in the city. Maybe that's why I love her poetry. The revolution won't be born in meetings but over coffee and in punk concerts. Anyhow, to quote Emma Goldman, "If I can't dance, I don't want to be part of your revolution."
